The Items<\/strong> page is where you can search for, view, and manage all the products or rental items listed in your store.
This is also where you add new items to your inventory.<\/p>

This page is essential for managing:<\/p>

  • Your catalogue<\/li>

  • Hire products<\/li>
  • Equipment<\/li>
  • Any service or product your customers can book<\/li><\/ul>
    1. Search by Title<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

      This search box lets you quickly filter items by their name\/title<\/strong>.<\/p>

      Examples you can search for:<\/p>

      • \u201cBMW X5\u201d<\/li>
      • \u201cCamera Lens\u201d<\/li>
      • \u201cWedding Package\u201d<\/li>
      • \u201cTable Hire\u201d<\/li>
      • \u201cExcavator\u201d<\/li><\/ul>

        This is ideal when you have many items and need to find one fast.<\/p>

        How it works:<\/strong><\/p>

        1. Type part or all of the item name<\/li>
        2. Results update automatically (or after pressing Enter, depending on system)<\/li>
        3. Only matching items appear in the list below<\/li><\/ol>
          1. Search by Item Code<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

            Item codes are unique identifiers assigned to products.<\/p>

            Examples:<\/p>

            • SKU123<\/li>
            • CAR-009<\/li>
            • EQP-550<\/li>
            • HIRE-22<\/li><\/ul>

              This field helps you locate items using these codes.<\/p>

              Barcode Scanner Integration<\/strong><\/p>

              The option \u201cTake Barcode Scanner Input\u201d<\/strong> means:<\/p>

              • You can use a physical barcode scanner<\/li>
              • Scanning a barcode will automatically input the item code into the search field<\/li>
              • The system will instantly pull up the matching item<\/li><\/ul>

                This is extremely helpful for:<\/p>

                • Warehouses<\/li>
                • Hire centres<\/li>
                • Large inventories<\/li>
                • Quick check-ins and check-outs<\/li><\/ul>
                  1. Add New<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

                    Clicking Add New<\/strong> takes you to the item creation page where you can add a new product to your store.<\/p>

                    • Stock\/quantity<\/li>

                        The large empty section below the search bars is where your items will appear once added.<\/p>
