{"id":1666,"date":"2026-08-13T09:02:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T08:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/getbooked.software\/app\/?p=1666"},"modified":"2026-08-27T11:51:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T10:51:22","slug":"how-to-manage-and-publish-agreements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/getbooked.software\/app\/how-to-manage-and-publish-agreements\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Manage and Publish Agreements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Agreements page allows you to upload agreement files, save frequently used documents as templates, add signature and name positions, publish agreements, and view existing agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add a New Agreement<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To add a new agreement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Agreements page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under Add New Agreement File, either select an existing agreement from Select a Template or click Choose file to upload a new agreement from your device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are uploading a file that you would like to reuse, select Keep this file as template for repeated use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the required Email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Upload.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once uploaded, you can prepare the agreement by selecting where the recipient&#8217;s signature and name should appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use an Agreement Template<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click Select a Template.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the template you want to use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the required Email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Upload.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using a template is useful when you regularly send the same agreement and do not want to upload the document each time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Save an Agreement as a Template<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click Choose file and select the agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Keep this file as template for repeated use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the required Email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Upload.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The document will then be available from Select a Template for future agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the Signature Position<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before publishing the agreement, select where the recipient&#8217;s signature should appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Select Signature Position at the bottom of the agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the location on the document where you want the signature to appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the signature position is in the correct place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the Name Position<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, select where the recipient&#8217;s name should appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click Select Name Position at the bottom of the agreement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the location on the document where you want the recipient&#8217;s name to appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the name position is in the correct place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tip: <\/strong>Place the signature and name fields in the appropriate spaces provided in your agreement before publishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publish the Agreement<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have added and checked the Signature Position and Name Position:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review the agreement and make sure both positions are correct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Publish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement will then be published with the selected signature and name fields ready for completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View Existing Agreements<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously created agreements are displayed under Custom Agreements on the Agreements page. Each agreement displays its reference and associated email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Find the required agreement under Custom Agreements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click View on the right-hand side.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete a Template<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the relevant template from Select a Template.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Delete Template file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete any confirmation displayed by the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deleting a template removes it from the list of files available for repeated use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troubleshooting<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I can&#8217;t upload an agreement.<\/strong><br>Make sure you have selected either a template or a file and entered the required email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I can&#8217;t publish the agreement.<\/strong><br>Check that you have selected the required signature and name positions and that they have been placed correctly on the document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>My signature or name field is in the wrong place.<\/strong><br>Check the field positions before publishing and reposition them if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I can&#8217;t find an agreement I uploaded.<\/strong><br>Check the Custom Agreements section. If it does not appear, refresh the page and check whether an error was displayed during the upload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I can&#8217;t view or delete an agreement or template.<\/strong><br>Your account may not have the required permissions.
