GetBooked was built out of frustration.
After running multiple equipment rental businesses, I kept running into the same problems with existing software. Systems were either too complicated, missing key features, or simply didn’t reflect how rental businesses actually operate day-to-day.
We tried different tools, workarounds, and even spreadsheets — but nothing really fit. Managing availability, bookings, and equipment became more time-consuming than it should have been, and small mistakes like double bookings or missed details could quickly turn into bigger issues.
With a background in tech, I decided to build something that actually worked the way a real rental business needs it to.
As the system evolved, we brought in experienced developers to help refine, improve, and scale the platform properly — making sure it’s not just useful, but also reliable and built to a high standard.
Imran later joined the team, bringing over 16 years of experience in software development and technology. As CTO, he leads the technical direction of GetBooked, ensuring the platform is robust, scalable, and built for long-term use.
What started as an internal solution quickly became something much bigger. Over time, we’ve tested, refined, and improved GetBooked through real-world use — focusing on simplicity, reliability, and making everyday operations easier.
